Yaffa, Year 5, Noam Primary School

To Mrs A. Aremband:

Thank you Mrs Aremband for all your hard work this year teaching us during lockdown. I really enjoyed 'Journey to Joburg' which was a very interesting book that taught me all about kindness and what happens when people are not kind. I loved making those Romany Creams with you in the cooking lesson. They were yummy and fun to make.

Shira, Year 4, Noam Primary School

To Mrs Posen:

Thank you so much for your leadership during this challenging year. You have shown such positivity and encouragement and really thought of so many creative ways to support the children. The balance at Noam is spot on with the number of lessons- ensuring that children (and parents) are not overwhelmed. Weekly distribution of the resources is done with such efficiency and helps to ensure the children have all the material they need for each of their lessons. The extra-curricular programmes are marvellous and really help families to feel part of the extended Noam family. We are ever grateful for the dedication of the staff. You welcome each of the children by name when they enter the school gate and also on zoom. You notice their absence when they've been away. Shira has been so touched by your personal care and attention. Thank you very much. Wishing you continued hatzlocha with all the wonderful work you and your team are doing. Kol hakavod!

Rabbi and Mrs Garber, Year 4, Noam Primary School

To Mrs Shlovsky:

We wish to convey our hugest expression of hakaras hatov to Mrs Shlovsky for her presentation of the Natural History Museum today. It is clear that she must have spent considerable time preparing her resources which she presented so beautifully with great enthusiasm, engaging her audience and imparting so much information to the audience. She delivered the information, pitching to all ages and stages of life. It was appealing to younger children as well as parents and grandparents. The content was varied; the photos were really fascinating and we all discovered so many things we had not known or seen before. I shared the link with my inlaws, Shira's grandparents who found the presentation so engaging and interesting that they'd like b'ezras "H to be able to join for more of these sessions, especially if Mrs Shlovsky is going to be doing further virtual tours. I told Shira that Grandma was taking her to the Natural History museum this afternoon after school. She was puzzled at how this was going to happen during lockdown especially as we hadn't seen my inlaws during lockdown. Shortly before 4.30, we told her about the zoom. She was so proud that Noam was organising this. She was also happy to see that Grandma and Papa were also on the zoom! Shira says, "My favourite part was seeing the enormous skeleton of the blue whale. I also enjoyed seeing the different coloured diamonds. " Shira loves Mrs Shlovsky's history and music lessons. A highlight was the Sorcerer's apprentice. Shira becomes so animated when she relays what it was about!

Rabbi and Mrs Garber, Year 4, Noam Primary School

Dear Mrs Posen and staff, I just want to say a HUGE thank you for the endless hours you must all be putting in right now to ensure the fantastic davening, kodesh and chol lessons, the afterschool activities, the telephone calls to the parents and all the support and energy that you are putting in 24/6 (shabbos!!) to keep our children safe. Please say thank you to all the staff for their sterling work. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support you to help you support us!

To Mrs Newman and Mrs Green :

We can not express our gratitude in a post! The crazy amount you put in to your preparation and your marking and your packs and your enthusiasm in your zoom lessons are all just mind blowing! Through this crazy time with kids home we don’t know how you manage to keep on going with your infections smiles and such great classes! We are so indebted to you and will be forever grateful!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Sara and Adina, Year 2, Noam Primary School

To The Talented Noam Staff:

I want to thank all of the talented staff at Noam Primary for the wonderful education they gave me in both my Kodesh studies, as well as my secular endeavours. These experiences have shaped a solid foundation for all of my subsequent ventures, whether that be in school or outside. The memories I have of Noam are some of the most powerful I have, and I constantly think back to the wonderful 8 years I had in the most amazing primary school that exists. Time flies by quickly and the recollections I have of my time in Noam seem like an age away. I look back with fondness on the experiences I had, bittersweet - sad at how I have grownup from my childhood in so few years, happy at all the sweet times I had with my friends and teachers. I really believe that I wouldn't be a fraction of who I am today and will grow to become without Noam. I endlessly reminisce over the duration of the time I spent in Noam, wishing it hadn't all ended so quickly, wishing I had taken more memories with me, wishing I could go through it all again one more time.

A Past Student, Year 11, Noam Primary School

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Mrs Green, Mrs Ezeikiel, Mrs Kaye, Miss Ezekiel and all the teachers at Noam. You have worked so hard in producing weekly printed packs and then going through the returned work the following week to keep an eye on the progress of all the children. We really appreciate how supportive you and the school has been towards the families. It's an incredible balance that you have managed to strike, whilst continuing to offer as much of the educational programme is feasible for each individual child taking into account family circumstances and whether parents are working etc that makes it harder to support home learning. Thank you so much - we are so grateful.
