Welcome from:
Headteacher - Mrs Deborah Danan
Head of Kodesh - Rebbetzin Jackie Kirsch
At Shalom Noam, we aim to bring out the very best in each child and enable them to thrive, grow and learn. We set high standards in both Kodesh and Chol and support the children in achieving academic excellence. However, we believe passionately that it is happy children who learn best and we greatly invest in the emotional and social wellbeing of each child as well as in their middos. Our aim at Shalom Noam is to prepare them for their future so they go into the world as proud Jewish, British citizens with the skills they need. We encourage resilience, independent thinking and curiosity and, at the same time, we are there to support the children in any way they need. All staff have an open-door policy and the children are encouraged to share their achievements, worries, joys and concerns.
Our children are delightful, motivated, caring and respectful individuals and they are our best ambassadors.
We are extremely fortunate to be in a beautiful new building with large, airy classrooms, a playground and beautiful facilities. This greatly enhances the children’s wellbeing at school. We have an excellent Kodesh Curriculum and a broad and ambitious Chol Curriculum that we teach during an integrated day. Every class has the support of at least one Teaching Assistant as well as the support of our wonderful SEN team.
We look to give the children a range of exciting, educational opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom and strive to make learning relevant and engaging so the children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our children tell us they love school and we certainly love having them in school! You are welcome to come and visit Shalom Noam and see our wonderful school in action!
